Strummer and me

Spending the summer in California while her mother convalesces from a grave illness, a 12 year-old finds herself suddenly alone at a rock concert outside of L.A.  The man she meets at that event, and the brief time they spend together, changes her life.

Kari O. grew up in Minneapolis and attended Swarthmore College. She currently lives in New York City where she is pursuing her interests in dramaturgy and playwriting, with a little punk rawk on the side.
